True deep black for defining your eyes. best used with skinny eyeliner brush. Wear close to the lash line for a natural pop to your eyes.
Cake eye liners have been around forever. We have gilded the lily with gel liners, felt tip liners and pencil liners, but the Cake Eye Liner is an American tradition for defining the eye. Many people with sensitive eyes can't tolerate gel liners and the cake liner is nearly impossible to find. If you are already a fan, no explanation needed, however, if you are new to the genre, let me teach an old cat some new tricks.
I like to use a fine eye lining brush with cake liners. I don't like a hard line, but before or after I smolder my eyes with the smolder smokey-eye-in-a-minue-stick, I like to place a thin line of the black cake wet liner at the base of the lashes from the inner-corner to the outer. POW! You can't really tell its a line, but that eye will pop out like never before. Remember, as close to the lashes as possible is all you need to define your eye like a pro. Just add water and mix, baby!
